Inspiration With Rosa of My Latino Voice

Version En Español
I love what Rosa Alonso, founder of My Latino Voice says about what inspires her: family, community, music and passion. Every culture has their way of expressing their roots and this is what Rosa seeks to share in her website which is the  fast growing space with the Latino flair.

It is a magazine style  website brimming with stories about music, art, food, politics, film, health and even a Latino Wiki which translates common latino phrases. I especially love the Spanglish category. Some I never heard of:

chipichipi – continous rainy drizzle; fussy, whiny behavior of a child

esta canijo – a difficult situation

On the serious side, you can also keep up to date with Latino political issues or be entertained with music and arts. So make sure you speak your voice on My Latino Voice and remember to take the time to enjoy these holidays with your loved ones. Since we are talking about culture and Latino roots,  what ways you celebrate Christmas with your family? In my family, we have the traditional Colombian tamal dinner by a recipi my mother has made since I was a baby.

Thank you Rosa for inspiring ME!  Keep up the good work with such an amazing community. You can follow Rosa on twitter @mylatinovoice or their Facebook Page
