Fun Time With My Son & A Ford Escape Review

Ford-Escape-ReviewWhen people ask me what I blog about, I usually say I blog about inspiration, motivation and leadership with the heart and about sharing special moments with my son. I am not a mom blogger because he is now a 6’2″, 190 lb. man, but the biggest highlight of my entire life has been being a mom to my only son who is now 19 years old. He is one of the biggest inspiration of my life and my happiest moments are random moments that make him happy.

Recently, Ford let me test out the Ford Escape for a few days. The car was delivered on a rainy Saturday while my son was studying for his final exams at FIU( Florida International University). While I was on the computer in another room, he heard a sound outside and as he looked out the window and yelled to me: “Mom, come over here! Get your camera! …

Blogger Friends & Friends of The Heart

Last week I attended Hispanicize conference. It was a massive event with about 800 attendees, many of them bloggers. I was able to catch up with two bloggers I have had the luck to meet in person at several conferences before, Denisse Icaza of Ahorros Para Mama and Mirna Arce of Ahorros Con Cupones.

Denisse was one of my roommates at Blogher in August, 2010 in my first blogging conference I ever attended. It was fun to spend a great deal of time getting to know her beautiful, sweet spirit and to learn everything she was doing with her blog.

A Smart 13 Year Old Reviews My Verizon XY Board

Recently, at a family barbeque, my sister in law’s nephew, Dylan, was happily laying on a hammock and browsing the internet with my Verizon XY Board. So, after testing out some features, he gave me a little video review.

This smart 13 year old spoke like an adult describing the retina screen. “Pretty techy”, I thought.  OK, his dad is in the computer business, but  his review brought a smile to my face while I was videoing Dylan. What a cutie! Don’t you think?
