Today I witnessed the first ever Google +1 hangout with key leaders of Latino organizations encouraging Latino’s to get out and vote, make a difference and to help others get informed about the tools and information that is on these organizations websites.<\/p>\n

This event was organized by Elianne Ramos, the Co-Chair of Latism.org,<\/a> the largest Hispanic online voice and was the first of its kind. The leaders of the various non-profits who are actively involved in supporting and informing the Latino voice is very powerful:<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text] [vc_column_text width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text] [vc_column_text width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”]<\/p>\n Participants were encouraged to ask questions thru Twitter utilizing the Twitter hashtag #latism. Elianne Ramos was monitoring the tweets and asking questions to the panel on the Google Hangout. Additionally, the participating organizations were tweeting while the hang out was Live. One great insight that Elianne mentioned was that those that have the technical tools and resources should share the information to those that don’t have it available.
