\nOne of the things that inspires me is to find out how people connect. When I met Monique and Sandrini at Blogalicious, they just seemed like real life sisters. I was going to interview them separately, but the more they giggled and laughed about how who would go first, I realized they needed to be interviewed together. Their synergy was uplifting and made me laugh too! Sandrini met Monique by submitting her blog at Blogs By Latinas.<\/a><\/p>\n

Monique has created a great directory website that puts together all the Latina blogs. She also has a blog called Curves and Chaos<\/a> aimed at beautiful and fashionable curvatious women. Now that is inspiring to be able to celebrate your beauty no matter what your size. Beauty after all comes from the inside first. She is motivated by creating this network for Latina bloggers, in essence, like a real sisterhood. Helping them in any which way she can comes natural for her. And believe me, creating this network was no easy task. The over 1000 blogs submitted was manually added all by herself.<\/p>\n

Sandrini’s blog is Soy Fashionista.<\/a> The tagline on her blog is “Soy Vida, Amor y Orgullo”<\/em> which translates to I Am Life, Love and Proud.<\/em> She shares in this video how she is inspired to empower young Latinas in high school and middle school to dream and reach for the stars. I believe she is a great role model for these future adults to encourage them to get educated and believe in themselves.<\/p>\n
