\nYou know the saying, “What comes up, must come down.” That’s the law of gravity. \u00a0Well, I am here to tell you that today I attended the Empowered Women’s Summit in Miami <\/a>and all I can say is I am high as a kite. I am floating with effervescent energy of positivity from being around over 200 women who attended this conference today.<\/p>\n

The panels were incredibly informative with tips and tools for a small business owner to take your business to the next level. \u00a0Some of the topics were branding, working with the media, elevating your public speaking, social media engagement and online marketing. \u00a0I have loads of video that I will be posting soon. And thank you Michelle Villalobos for putting together such a great event!<\/p>\n

But what I wanted to share right now,while I am buzzing with all this electric energy, is to remember that what is in your heart is what will take you the furthest. Passion comes from your heart. There is no other way around it. In this fast paced world we live in with a million distractions, doing what you love is the fuel that is endless, the gusher that will make you keep going without giving up.<\/p>\n

I learned today that only<\/em> 4% of small businesses generate more than $2 million in revenues per year. We all have dreams for a better life, some may have lost hope and survive day by day, slowly suppressing their desires because it takes too much work. \u00a0This blog, Mi Caminar is a labor of love. I don’t have much time to write as much as I would like. \u00a0But, because it is something that I do from my heart, it stays alive and I dream for a day where I can do this full time, have a book, go around speaking and sharing inspiration. That is my dream!<\/p>\n

Many times, I have felt like giving up because life has presented many darts that made me say Ouch! more than a few times. \u00a0But today, any darts that have come my path can’t reach me in my high state of enthusiasm and energy for having connected with this great vibe today. So, cheers to happy floating with empowered women who lead.<\/p>\n

And if you ever feel down, just get yourself out there with the intention of being uplifted. I promise, you will find just the right person when you least expect it, that will boost some endorphins into you. And they might not even know they are doing that. \u00a0That is the law of attraction. \u00a0Gravity I know, does do it’s job to test you. Tomorrow I may be not as high, but I will make more effort to stay away from the path of darts.<\/p>\n

So morale of the story is: What is down can definitely <\/em>come up. And that is the law of love;)<\/p>\n
