Mi Caminar (My Walk) <\/strong> is a blog dedicated to inspiring others to embrace change in the midst of chaos, meltdowns and life changing events. I believe the definition of leadership is to be true to yourself and utilized all your God given talents…And most importantly, walk your talk.<\/p>\n

You will also find video interviews of \u00a0women and men in positions of leadership on what they believe is their definition of leadership and what inspires them.<\/p>\n

Chaos serves a very important purpose. It helps in opening your heart to your true purpose.\u00a0Yes…. it is very painful while you are experiencing\u00a0chaos and disruption of your current life. But what if chaos is summoning you to find something deeper in yourself \u2013 your true self that is full of passion and vitality?<\/p>\n

Simple…yet deep… we like to get to the heart of things…the excitement of discovering our depth so we can all lead with a peaceful heart full of courage, strength, self esteem and motivation.<\/p>\n

My name is Blanca Stella Mejia. <\/strong>My life has been filled with much \u201cchaos.\u201d But now, I am happy for that chaos because it brought me much wisdom and a constant search for inner peace. Here you can listen to my Ignite Miami talk about Transformation with the Butterflies, <\/a>something I love to talk about on this blog as well and sometimes about my 19 year old son, who is the light of my life.<\/p>\n

I started this blog in 2009 in Spanish when I felt drawn to connect with my Colombian roots. My parents took me to Colombia every summer as a kid, so I got to know all my almost 50 first cousins really well. (Yes…fifty..<\/em>primos hermanos.)\u00a0 In 2010, I made the blog Bilingual after meeting many Latina bloggers living in the United States who preferred to read in English.<\/p>\n

My dream is to one day write a book, of which I have a mini draft manuscript of stories written prior to 2008. Alas, work and sustaining my household as a single mom has taken priority so all is in due time.<\/p>\n
