Love, Ka, Bellagio Fountains & Fire Dazzled My Senses In Las Vegas

I extended my trip while in Las Vegas last week for a few days to catch some Cirque de Soleil and enjoy some time off. I had been there maybe about 10 years ago and remember being awed by the Bellagio Fountains. So it was on the top of my list of things to see. I captured a little video here with the water show playing the Beatles song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

What lasts in our memories are experiences, even if for a short time, to dazzle our senses. Watching the water dance to the melody of the song kind of made me go want to go to a ballroom and dance with a handsome man right after! I can close my eyes and keep seeing the rhythmic flow of the combination of lights, water, splash and music create it’s magic.

Here is one with Time To Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. This one makes me want to cry! But isn’t it better to cry and feel an experience than not have one at all?  That my friend is living life at its best- feeling emotion that moves us ;)

Latin Grammy’s 2014 Fun In Las Vegas

latin-grammy-tickets

I love Latin Music! So when I got an invitation by Verizon to attend the Latin Grammy’s in Las Vegas, I was thrilled! Being of Colombian heritage, I wanted to see Juanes and Carlos Vives. Of course, hearing Miguel Bose with Pepe Aguilar, Pit Bull, Ricky Martin, Santana and so many others perform was really dazzling.

Carlos Vives performed first with Choqibtown, also Colombian, and then Marc Anthony. I was able to capture this video from my Verizon Motox X, so hopefully you can get an idea of the energy of them combined.

Here are some highlight tweets close up from the official Latin Grammy Account:

Definition of God by Rob Bell, Elizabeth Gilbert & Iyanla Vanzant

This video answers questions to three Trailblazers at the event of how they define God: Rob Bell, Elizabeth Gilbert and Iyanla Vanzant.

Rob Bell says that God is like a song and you hear it, but it is in a room where he has to get in. And the more closely you listen, you realize the song is playing in the whole house. And you want to turn up the volume in the whole house because it makes your soul soar. For him, it begins in the little every day moments and that spirituality is the awareness that there is more going on. He goes on to say that the moment you prove something, then it is wrong. You have to experience it to be real.
