Besides getting all fired up listening to all the fantastic music, I was deeply moved by a very touching tribute to Jenni Rivera who won best artist of the year. Some of the expressions from her family were:
- “Sigue viviendo en nuestros corazones y la musica” ( She is alive in our hearts and in the music).
- “Eres una reina, eres mi vida, Dios te bendiga, hija mia.” (You are a queen, you are my life. May God bless you, my daughter.)

You can hear it in the first minute of the video. The rest of the video is a compiliation of some clips during the show. I absolutely loved the colorful stage!

My other favorite moment was Il Volo singing “El Triste” O.M.G!! These guys are uber fabulous. Their genre has a mix of opera in it. This was so amazing. Check it out here:
I tweeted during the event with the #sehablamusica hashtag. Se Habla Musica is a program created by Target that celebrates Latin music and culture. Check out the Target mascot at the Latin Billboards with Wilmer Valderrama!
Look who it is! @wvalderrama says hi to @target mascot #Bullseye at the @latinbillboards. #SeHablaMusica ow.ly/i/1YrCV

Disclosure: I was given 2 general admission tickets by Target to attend the Latin Billboards Awards and was not compensated. All opinions are my own.
