I extended my trip while in Las Vegas last week for a few days to catch some Cirque de Soleil and enjoy some time off. I had been there maybe about 10 years ago and remember being awed by the Bellagio Fountains. So it was on the top of my list of things to see. I captured a little video here with the water show playing the Beatles song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
What lasts in our memories are experiences, even if for a short time, to dazzle our senses. Watching the water dance to the melody of the song kind of made me go want to go to a ballroom and dance with a handsome man right after! I can close my eyes and keep seeing the rhythmic flow of the combination of lights, water, splash and music create it’s magic.
Here is one with Time To Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. This one makes me want to cry! But isn’t it better to cry and feel an experience than not have one at all? That my friend is living life at its best- feeling emotion that moves us ;)

I also enjoyed some of the Cirque de Soleil Shows like Ka and Love by the Beatles. My senses had a feast in those two days post Latin Grammy’s! Ka is one of the five elements of the earth representing fire. According to Wikipedia in Japanese, Ka is:
Ka or hi, meaning “Fire“, represents the energetic, forceful, moving things in the world. Animals, capable of movement and full of forceful energy, are primary examples of kaobjects. Bodily, ka represents our metabolism and body heat, and in the mental and emotional realms, it represents drive and passion. ka can be associated with security, motivation, desire, intention, and an outgoing spirit.
Love by Cirque de Soleil was colorful, lively and fun! Here is the oficial trailer which coincidently also includes the song Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds which is the song in the Bellagio Fountains I recorded.
Love and Fire plus some musica Latina equals a great time in Las Vegas and just $30 of gambling the slots. No win on that, but win to all my senses.
And the final thing I saw was more fire at the Volcano show at the Mirage Hotel. That is Fire with Water. I would call that a double whammy and it definitely wasn’t a mirage! My eyes and senses have great memories.
