Mi Caminar (My Walk) is a blog dedicated to inspiring others to embrace change in the midst of chaos, meltdowns and life changing events. I believe the definition of leadership is to be true to yourself and utilized all your God given talents…And most importantly, walk your talk.

Chaos serves a very important purpose. It helps in opening your heart to your true purpose. Yes…. it is very painful while you are experiencing chaos and disruption of your current life. But what if chaos is summoning you to find something deeper in yourself – your true self that is full of passion and vitality?

Simple…yet deep… we like to get to the heart of things…the excitement of discovering our depth so we can all lead with a peaceful heart full of courage, strength, self esteem and motivation.

My name is Blanca Stella Mejia. My life has been filled with much “chaos.” But now, I am happy for that chaos because it brought me much wisdom and a constant search for inner peace. I started this blog in 2009 when I felt drawn to connect with my Colombian roots. My parents took me to Colombia every summer as a kid, so I got to know all my almost 50 1st cousins really well. (Yes…fifty..primos hermanos)  The contributing writers are my cousins Clemencia & Jorge who live in Bogota, Colombia.

My dream is to one day write a book, of which I have a mini draft manuscript of stories written prior to 2008. It is in the form of a love story. I plan on blogging these stories, since I don’t have much time to get a book published right now.

Contributing Writers

Maria Clemencia Florez -  is a single mom of two boys. She works full time as a Marketing Consultant for several commercial clients in the health care industry in Bogota, Colombia. When she can spare a little bit of time, she writes her bits of wisdom about her journey.

Jorge Alberto Florez - works full time as a Sales Director. He has the gift of drawing and expressing deep thoughts. Every now and then he shares some deep philosophical insights. He is currently enjoying being a first time grandfather at 52 years old.

Estrella writes anonymously for the moment…as she is not comfortable with the internet yet.  She shares her poetry on occasion after she gets a moment of inspiration.
